Why the Transformers should use Dry Air Generator:

According to the DL/T573-95 transformer maintenance guideline, 110kV and above power transformers shall be protected by filled gas (up to a dew point of -40 C or less) during maintenance, so it must needs a equipment to supply dry gas.

According to the DL/T573-95 transformer maintenance guideline, 110kV and above power transformers shall be protected by filled gas (up to a dew point of -40 C or less) during maintenance, so it must needs a equipment to supply dry gas.

During the overhaul of transformers, reactors and other large power equipment, the provided dry air can ensure that the internal insulation of the power equipment is not damp, and the maintenance worker will not suffocate due to lack of oxygen when working inside the equipment.

The dry air is safer, more reliable, economical and convenient than the use of nitrogen. It can be used to inspect the equipment when it is inflated with a Dry Air Generator. It is not affected by changes in outside weather conditions, especially during overnight operations. It is only necessary to seal the flanges at all locations.

During the transformer transportation process, the transformer is connected to the Dry Air Generator, and the air is dried and purified by the Dry Air Generator so that the dew point of the dry air reaches -40°C and the gas purification accuracy is 20.01 μm. The transformer is not transported with oil. Inflate and ensure no leakage. It can greatly reduce the transportation costs of overweight transformers and avoid the possibility of an oxygen-deficient accident on site.

Dry air generator is mainly used as a Transformer Drying Machine, and also widely used for supply dry air to reactors and other large-scale power equipments during maintenance, to ensure that the internal insulation of the power equipment . It is safe, reliable, economical and convenient than using bottled gas.
