The Korean MMO seeing massive Lost Ark Gold success on PC Many may wonder if console ports could be coming in Lost Ark's future. The subject was brought up in an interview conducted by Amazon Game's Franchise Leader Soomin Park. Although his response wasn't exactly clear but it is clear that console-based versions could be a possibility.
British gaming journalist Sherif Saed recently interviewed Park on a range of subjects such as publishing rights, the comparisons of Lost Ark and Diablo 3 and also the reasons why Lost Ark took so long to arrive in the west. It is in relation to the Diablo 3 comparisons that the topic of console porting came up in the interview, with Saed noting the game's success across multiple platforms. However, Park wasn't able to provide a definitive either or not answer on whether Lost Ark might arrive on consoles in the near future. "If Lost Ark on consoles is something that fans really want," he told Saed, "then I think it's something both parties would consider!"
By "both sides," Park is presumably talking about cheap Lost Ark Gold Amazon and Smilegate as they share licensing rights on the game. Park clarified the partnership between the two companies when explaining why Lost Ark isn't available in the Middle East or parts of Europe. In contrast to previous Amazon Games titles like New World, the company is not the owner of Lost Ark. It's actually partnered together with Korean producer Smilegate RPG, who own the intellectual property rights. Park stated that the deal does not grant Amazon permission to publish Lost Ark globally, only in specific regions within Europe, Oceania, and the Americas. Unfortunately, this makes it unclear if or when Lost Ark might arrive in new territories.
